| Description: | Negative Harmony is a theory based on the works by Ernst Levy and recently made popular by Jacob Collier. Take a look at this explanation by ryant87: https://i.imgur.com/tMNyfze.jpg Just define your Major Root and the Notes you play will be mirrored around the axis between the Tonic and Dominant (for C the axis is between E and Eb.) |

Hi shinito,
thanks for your interest.
this device changes midi notes according to the theory of negative harmony. with such it is possible to play a chord and get it's negative form, which will sound arguably chromatic but will have the same "weight" if we can say so.
just drop it in a midi track and record its output with a second midi track to see the result

Hi, this is an invaluable plugin. Are there any chances for American notation, please? It may be helpful to click on the tonic in the circle to select the root note. Best regards.

Hi jarekmn. I've just made a mod for American notation, blame on you. Now doing something to click on the circle notes and other stuff. I'll post it with respect to Demian.

Let's blame the curiosity!
How about highlighting the root note in the circle? This could replace the root note selection window. I managed to change the colour of the letters of 'Root', 'In', and 'Out' from white to black. It is more visible in my theme. The smooth line of the mirroring axis is not visible in the bright theme. I like the idea of developing this plugin. Regards

I already thought about that. That's easier now that I replaced the notes by actual buttons. I'll have a look to that.
About the colour of elements, yeah, I realized that depending on the theme you use they might not work well. You probably miss the axis line too. But, let's comment about the mod in the modded device page.
