Overview

Name | Version: dschihadelay 1.0
Author: monohusche
Device Type: Audio Effect
Description: Based on code from Apparat/Modeselektor's performance patch "dschihad", dschihadelay is a single tap delay (synced to Live transport) with random delay time, random feedback (+feedback freeze), random filter cutoff (lowpass, highpass, bandpass, bandstop) and random panning.

It is now fully stereo (both channels are processed), allows to choose either to output a wet/dry signal or just the wet signal. The Filter can be placed either within the feedback loop, after the delay unit or in both places.

The boundaries of the ranges can be automated in Live via the sync'ed min/max dials.

thanks for sharing this. I just had a quick go at it... I think I'll be doing the stereo version straight away, since the random panning thing doesn't make a lot of sense ATM - it goes from center to left, not to the right at all.

But it's a GREAT foundation for "that sound" and it definitely has Apparat written all over it ;) Good stuff!
hey andreas,

pls see the new update which has some bugs fixed, is stereo and allows to have some fun with filter placement.

Great Device Monohusche!!!!
Any chance of possibly adding some of the other Dschihad features? Like Bit Crusher and the KP vector? That would be AMAZING :)
Great work!
One quick suggestion, I used to use apparats original app, and to give it the feel of the original, he added a "no triplets" button, like live's beat repeat has. This allows the device to be used in more musical ways. Is there any chance of adding this?

Thanks much for the nice plug!
