Device Overview

Name/Version: fp.Tune 1.4
Author: eltnet
Description: Sorry, back to [fiddle~] as it works better when changing sample rate.

If you want you can replace [fiddle] by [pitch~]. A first step to Audio to Midi...
For PC users, you first need to install the fftw3.dll into your Max/MSP folder as stated on Tristan Jehan's homepage (http://web.media.mit.edu/~tristan/MaxMSP/fftw3.dll.zip).

Hi Eltnet,
This patch uses fiddle~, right?
I think you need to freeze the device to include it

Hi,

yep you'rr right. I just discover MFL, so...

Awesome. Totally awesome. Works great and much needed after all this time.

Only request would be a wider vertical representation for the orange tuner needle display and detent marker above it..
Just a little bit wider since you are generally farther away from the screen when using the tuner. e.g. guitar, bass, etc.

Great work.

Hey Eltnet,

Looks like a handy app. For me it does not work (M4L indicates that the fiddle thing is still missing)
Just thought you might like to know.

Best,
AB

I'm with the other posts.... wider would be nicer & the I've gotten it to work despite the fiddle issue but it's a pain to get it working each time.

worked for me, very nice little utility thanks!

Hi,
Thanks so much for devloping this! I'm gigging all over Japan right now, and my gosh, for the last two gigs, I had to tune the guitar by EAR -- resulting in horrendous out of tune licks during the performance. Had to improvise around it to not play those strings. This is going to save my entire tour. Thanks again!!

fiddle external is only available for MAC

Hello, this last version uses Pitch~?available for PC too.

This is exactly what I need!!! Do you know where I have to put the "fftw3.dll" (On Windows 7)?

It seems [fiddle~] works now for PC too.

If you turn on the floating tuner window it will introduce a unpredictable lag and note dropouts when playing midi... (on new quad core macbook pro)

Not working for me now in Live 9.

@polimorfos : on 10.6.8 with LIVE 9.0. and Max6.1.4 it works perfectly here...

what does the max window say ?

so it's the fiddle object not compatible with your system.
I have no time now to fix it.
you can search this object on web and replace it.
I can't do more for now.
