Device Overview

Name/Version: Rytm Mutes 1.4
Author: redhexagonal
Description: Now uses imp.midi objects, so should work with OSX and Windows, 32bit and 64bit.

Note: When using in Windows, imp.midi in cannot use any port that the host application (Max or Ableton Live) is also using. Any ports required to be used with imp.midi should be disabled in Max/Ableton MIDI preferences. This is due to Windows lacking a native multi-client MIDI driver.

Allows muting of MIDI notes sent to the RYTM via the device or the RYTM. Set both ports to "Analog Rytm Elektron MIDI" or whatever ports your Rytm is connected by.

Make sure on your Rytm, MIDI CONFIG > MIDI PORT CONFIG > PAD DEST = INT + EXT
and MIDI CONFIG > MIDI PORT CONFIG > PARAM OUTPUT = CC

1.3 added animation of pads on incoming MIDI

Cannot mute from the plugin, the MIDI out box says "Fail". Muting from the Rytm lights up the corresponding button on the plugin but the other way around doesn't work. Do I need to enable Remote Input for the Rytm on Live's preferences?

It's not clear what this device is for. It almost certainly is not for automating muting of Rytm tracks since this requires separate MIDI channels for each track and Live doesn't allow MIDI tracks to send to more than one MIDI channel...
