| Do i have to copy/paste patches into Max for live? I'm new to max and all i want to do is have 16 presets of regular midi mappings. My midi controller has 17 knobs. I just want each 1 of the 16 presets to be a fresh page of 17 control datas. Is this the right device? |

| Sorry for the delay in replying. No, I don't think this is the right gizmo as I designed it to simply recall synth presets within the same patch. However, a more experienced Max user than me would probably say yes, as it depends what you connect it to. On a general note, no, you don't normally need to copy and paste things into Max unless you're writing your own devices. Which is why I put this thing up here in the first place. | I'm learning Max and this is pretty useful to me, so thank you. Btw, Live recognizes it as an instrument device, not a midi effect, so you've got a typo here in the description. |

| No typo by me. Nowhere do I mention midi effect! Glad you found some of the above useful. |
