I think you need to manually place it in the transformation folder (on windows something like (ableton library)\user\User Library\MIDI Tools\Max Transformations)

You're right, maybe I'll consider asking for something at some point if a device feels solid enough. For now, I still have a couple of old personal M4L utilities that I'd like to revise and present here for anybody to use.

Yes! I haven't found out how to do that yet but I'm working on it, I also plan to duplicate the devices from the original track to the child tracks if that's possible.

For transformation patches it's a bit different, you have to place them in a location such as "ableton\user\User Library\MIDI Tools\Max Transformations" and then go and find them in the "transformation" menu from a clip view.

Oh I understand what you mean, the example gif can be a bit misleading : notes with a different pitch just happen to respectively have a different velocity in the original sequence I was using when recording the gif but not as a result of the transformation.
The transformation can be applied on velocity or pitches but not one depending on the other. Would you have a use for a pitch-dependant velocity scaler?
