Device Overview

Name/Version: AUDpiPOdePLUS 0.03
Author: synthesizerwriter
Description: This is an early unpolished experimental extension of the AUDpiPOde 'Ping Pong' delay/echo device, but optimised for use as a 'Frozen Echo' looper device in live performance.

By using the 'Anti' time-delay compensation mode, the time delays will keep the echoes in sync (at 120 bpm currently!), so you can go from echoes to 'frozen' (select one of the three big common buttons in the right hand panel), and then back to echoes smoothly.

Ramped audio fades attempt to minimise the transitions between modes and when adding in the Limiter and Frequency Shifter. In the frozen mode without Limiter or Shifter, then long repeat times should be possible.

If you add the limiter or Shifter, then the repeat times may be shorter, and may cause runaway feedback - I have included them as 'in loop' processors so that you can capture a loop of audio, process it and then repeat it until you want to revert back to plain echoes again.

As described, this is mainly a 'Performance Echo' effect, but it can also be used as a dual channel echo (with admittedly high RAM and CPU demands!).

This is definitely 'work in progress', and is not just a 'slightly better' version of the AUDpiPOde device. Enjoy!
