Binaural Freqshift — a plugin (Max for Live Audio Effect) to be inserted after a MIDI instrument, which applies a frequency shift (linear translation in Hz, not a pitch-shift) to one of the two stereo channels, keeping the other unchanged. The difference in Hz between the two channels creates a binaural beat perceived by the listener in the headphones. The main parameter, controllable and automatable in Live, is the magnitude of the shift in Hz applied to the right channel. |
