Features: * Real-time chord detection * Works on Push Standalone * 90+ chord types * Supports slash chords / inversions and voicings * Shows the bass note in chord inversions * Indicates missing chord tones (no5, no9, etc.) * Note-off events also trigger chord detection * Fully built with native Max for Live objects (no JS, Python, etc.) * Designed for hands-on use with Push * Clear and readable chord display * Fast response for live performance and improvisation * Helpful for learning harmony and music theory through play The device started as a small personal tool to explore chords on Push while sitting on the sofa and gradually grew into something more refined. I was inspired by various musicians / YouTubers (including Jxmieblake, Meta Mind Music and Push Patterns) and earlier tools (Chord Monitor for Push Display), which sparked the idea of creating a more capable, Push-friendly solution. I already have plenty of ideas for future updates, for example: * Scale awareness * Roman numeral detection based on the current scale * Context-aware sharp/flat naming * Selecting chords and play highlighting pads on Push * Showing alternative naming options For now, development is paused because I recently became a Father. 😊 Feedback and ideas are always welcome.
