CPHNAUDIO DEVICES 2.0

A complete Max for Live device bundle for faster gain staging, cleaner vocal editing, stronger tone, and more musical dynamics in Ableton Live.

CPHNAUDIO DEVICES 2.0 brings together six focused tools for producers, mixers, and Ableton users who want results quickly without losing musical control. The bundle covers automatic clip gain, FET compression, optical leveling, bus processing, tube-style program EQ, and Arrangement vocal cleanup. Each device is designed to be immediate: load it, make a few meaningful choices, and get back to the track.

Included devices:

1. cphn - auto clip

Automatic clip-gain staging for Ableton Live 12+.

cphn - auto clip listens to the audio passing through its track, estimates a calibrated VU/RMS-style average, and writes a static Clip Gain correction to the relevant audio clip. It is made for the gain-staging step that should happen before level-sensitive processors.

Use it when you want compressors, saturators, channel strips, and analog-modeled plugins to receive a predictable level before you start shaping tone.

Highlights:
- Target-based Clip Gain correction
- Calibrated -18 dBFS-style workflow
- Transparent audio pass-through
- Session clip detection with selected-clip fallback
- Live API helper included

Folder:
- CPHN_AUTOCLIP_2.0

Required files:
- cphn - auto clip.amxd
- auto_clip_gain_simple.js
- Auto Clip Gain Simple.maxpat
- DESCRIPTION.txt
- README.md

2. cphn - fetty

Fast FET-style compression with punch, bite, and forward motion.

cphn - fetty is built for the moments when a sound needs to speak with more confidence. It grabs quickly, adds energy, and can move from clean control to aggressive parallel crush without a slow setup process.

Use it when vocals need presence, drums need impact, bass needs control, or a parallel chain needs attitude.

Highlights:
- FET-inspired compressor/limiter behavior
- Ratio modes for different compression characters
- Input-driven compression workflow
- Output trim and color control
- Custom gain-reduction meter

Folder:
- CPHN_FETTY_2.1

Required files:
- cphn - fetty.amxd
- cphn_fetty_core.gendsp
- cphn_fetty_gr_vu_meter.js
- DESCRIPTION.txt
- README.txt

3. cphn - opty

Smooth optical-style leveling with warm tube-inspired color.

cphn - opty is designed for sources that should sit steadily in the mix without sounding clamped. Its optical-style recovery, warm color, parallel mix, stereo link, sidechain HPF, speed trim, and custom meter make it a natural first choice for vocals, bass, acoustic sources, and gentle bus smoothing.

Use it when you want a source to feel stable, expensive, and finished.

Highlights:
- Optical-style program-dependent leveling
- Compress and Limit modes
- Mix control for parallel leveling
- Color, stereo link, sidechain HPF, speed, and noise options
- Custom cream-face gain-reduction meter

Folder:
- CPHN_OPTY_2.1

Required files:
- cphn - opty.amxd
- cphn_opty_color_core.gendsp
- opto2a_gr_vu_meter.js

4. cphn - c73 procy

Characterful bus and mastering-style tone/dynamics processing.

cphn - c73 procy is a broad musical processor for adding weight, motion, density, and analog-style meter feedback to drums, groups, synth stacks, and full-range material. It is an original inspired processor, not a clone of proprietary hardware.

Use it when you want a bus to feel more glued, more alive, and more intentionally shaped before it hits the next stage.

Highlights:
- Bus and mastering-oriented workflow
- Dedicated gen~ processing core
- Custom VU and gain-reduction meters
- Useful on drums, groups, and mix bus material
- Designed for tone, movement, and density

Folder:
- CPHN_C73_PROCY_2.0

Required files:
- cphn - c73 procy.amxd
- gen_s73_core.gendsp
- s73_vu_meter.js
- s73_gr_meter.js
- DESCRIPTION.txt
- README.txt

5. cphn - celtec

Tube-style program EQ for broad musical tone shaping.

cphn celtec is for the moves that make a sound feel finished: more low-end authority, smoother brightness, sweet vocal presence, and analog-inspired density. It is not a surgical EQ. It is a broad program equalizer for sweetening sources and buses.

Use it when you want weight, sheen, low-mid cleanup, and a more polished tone without reaching for a clinical EQ.

Highlights:
- Passive/tube-style program EQ workflow
- Dedicated gen~ EQ/color core
- Low boost and low attenuation interaction
- High boost, high attenuation, bandwidth, analog color, input/output trim
- Custom JavaScript UI helper

Folder:
- CPHN_CELTEC_1.0

Required files:
- cphn celtec.amxd
- Tube Program Equalizer.maxpat
- tube_program_eq_core.gendsp
- tube_program_eq_ui.js
- DESCRIPTION.txt
- README.md

6. cphn - nully

Arrangement vocal cleanup and strip-silence editing for Ableton Live 12.

cphn nully is built for the editing work that sits between recording and mixing. It analyzes the selected Arrangement audio clip, detects usable vocal/audio regions, creates trimmed replacement clips, and deletes the original only after successful creation. The audio path stays transparent because the device is an offline editor, not a gate.

Use it when you want cleaner vocal takes, tighter voiceover edits, and less manual cutting before you start mixing.

Highlights:
- Arrangement-focused strip-silence workflow
- JavaScript Live API helper included
- Custom JavaScript UI helper included
- Editable source patch included
- Built for vocal cleanup and clip preparation

These devices are creative production tools. They are designed for musical workflow, not laboratory metering. Use your ears, match levels when comparing, and keep the included folders together so all dependencies load correctly.
