| Description: | This is the younger sibling of my Multi Poly simpleFM, suitable for Live 11. I needed to completely remove the Morphable Oscillators and the Meld Filters. On the bright side, its much more CPU efficient. You can choose any combination of Polyphony and Multiphony, as long as they multiply to be less than 1,204. For example, 32x32 gives 32 independent notes, each triggering 32 parralel (but different) copies of simpleFM~. For practical reasons, I settled on a limited 10x10 grid for the display and 3x3 for the initial Poly/Multi configuration. To configure, change the Multi and Poly to whatever legal combination you want and then hit the Config button. Many of the important parameters can be modified with Multi Channel messages. For each message, the min value is set by the main interface knob, while the +Δ sets the distance to the Max. Each channel gets a random value between min and Max. Everything else is mostly self explanatory, at least audibly. Share and Enjoy |

In the newest version, I took out the last remaining external object which I've been using for at least 5 years. Its frozen with nothing needed to be included and no specialty objects whatsoever. I don't know. I don't think its a Live11 thing. I'm going to need to downgrade one of my computers for testing.

This works on my Live 11 PC laptop. It must be a Mac thing, except everything under the hood is totally generic max objects that should work anywhere.

It would be great if somebody could check the Max Console for error messages. I don't get any at all. That way, I can find out which haystack to look for needles in.

its working, amazing how close sound to my Korg Monopoly. This version working has only one type of filter, the initial version I tried yesterday had a lot of different type of filters. Is it possible?

The main version (link below) has morphable oscillator Shapes with Shape Effects and the Meld Filters. Those are only available in Live12. I had to cut all of that out to get it to work in Live 11.
I forgot to put in Pitchshift (cents) Deviation. I'm hoping to have that done later today.
