Device Overview

Name/Version: SNAKE V2 1.0
Author: maximedangles
Description: SNAKE-V2 is an updated version of this one :

pitch, gate and velocity have is own sequencer now, quantizer have been inproved and work really better now !

and a new fonction have been added, manual step sequencer :

it's a knob with 32 presets to add more variations to your sequence or simply instant recall presets in case of use in live act (you can map this knob to a midi CC and change your sequence with it for exemple...)
To save a "variation" (a step) move the knob on the slot you want and push "store step".
Steps can be copied/pasted.
and you can save and load your 32 variations in an external file.

have fun my friends :) and share your trax and experiences made with it here !

tips : add a slow LFO or another sequencer on the manual step is great !

Cheers for this it's a great update! Is there any way you can make the gate buttons midi assignable?

Yes, I am having the same doubt like above person. Any ideas?

Hi Maxime, nice work. I am enjoy this device :)

I have noticed some bugs/weird behaviour.

?Reset All? does not reset playback direction, step, speed, or snake for Gate and Velocity. It also doesn?t reset snake for Note.

?Random All? doesn?t randomise any snake modes, Gate step, speed, and playback direction.

There is also something weird happening with note generation, I think it could be related to the quantiser. One way to observe the bug is after you load the device set note, gate, and velocity steps to 1, adjust the first note dial and you will see it plays D and F. If you change the Note speed to 4n it will only play D. If you increase the note dial it will play F, increase further then you get C. If you turn all notes on the quantiser on this weird behaviour disappears.

This doesn't happen with version 1
