Rotate arrows to create paths. Use crossroads to let shapes choose their own direction and control their decisions with the ‘chance’ property. Map New Path to any instrument or effect parameter to let shapes control their values. There are different ways to create rhythms. And there are many arrow types to choose from. Use the modification panel to move, rotate and randomise the matrix. And use “rules” to program logical conditions, such as what should happen when two shapes meet. New Path is fun and easy to use, while at the same time it is very powerful and has many features. You can use it anyway you want, letting it control anything such as synthesizers, effects and samplers; both hardware and software. Most of New Path’s features can be mapped and automated. This includes all the shape, rule and cell properties such as the arrow types and directions, pitch, velocity, etc.
