Device Overview

Name/Version: ApiServer 1.0.4
Author: mihop
Description: ApiServer lets you communicate with the Live Api via Websocket.
It also serves html, js, css, jpg, jpeg, png, and gif files from a root folder that you can set.

You can serve a webpage to a browser and then communicate with Live from there.
There are libraries on github and npm that facilitate this communication.

For the most basic one, check out (npm live-remote-api).

With (npm live-remote-params) you get a set of controls (Vertical/Horizontal Slider, Knob, Pan-Knob, Toggle, XY-Pad) you can immediately use in your own Javascript (or Typescript) projects.

For a full working example, go to

Try the mixer too!

Addendum: With the number of downloads here and on npm (wassup with the params??) I'm a bit surprised no one has contacted me about any bugs/total dysfunction yet.
So if stuff doesn't work, please help me fix it by letting me know in the comments below or on github issues or straight at
