After hacking this together I've found it produces surprisingly good results, even on drums which seem to recede nicely when the dry signal is reduced, it's pretty low on cpu too.
I hope somebody with a good knowlege of dsp will take this further as there aren't many (any) other reverb devices in the Max4Live library.

Kudos to Whitebox for coming up with this.

Hey, nice one! I'm honoured you praise the Baconfist but I have to confess I found the reverb patch after hours of dead-ends and deleted links. It was on an obscure max site somewhere in France.

All praise to Les Max Francais!

However, there's a lot more to Baconfist than a reverb....
