Would this work in an instrument rack, for example if I dropped 128 simpler in a rack with different samples with different keys .

what I'm trying to achieve is the same thing that you have inside loopcloud software, where it transposes every key so they work together. even if that mean they all lock to C.

@REMIXMUSIC

Hi, this currently works with 1 Sampler per track. BUT, I think it can be done. I'll try and get back to you with an answer soon)

that would be great this is definitely something I've been looking for

@REMIXMUSIC

I'm working on a device that will automatically detect all the pads in a DrumRack, but you can still place multiple copies of Stay In Key inside the DrumRack as a midi device in front of Simpler and it will work great! You can also save a DrumRack as default preset with Stay in Key already set for each pad, this will definitely take a couple of minutes, but you won't need to do it again later. Don't forget to bind the 'Link' button to one of the macros.

That sounds perfect, let me know when it's ready be great if you could do a demonstration video

@REMIXMUSIC

Okay, I'm testing this right now. And yes, I plan to make a demo-video)

I?ll also try to combine everything in one device. Working with DrumRacks, Simplers and Samplers)

That would be perfect, how long do you think it will be until it's ready?

@REMIXMUSIC

1-2 days)

that's perfect

how's it coming along?

@REMIXMUSIC

Hey! I think I've finished working on the "code" of the device. I had to create everything from scratch and spend several days coming up with some algorithms for tracking notes in drum rack) All that remains is to make a nice UI. Here is a short video of the progress (just the device in action).

That looks perfect, I especially like the fact you can hit next on the sample to get the next sample, would it be possible to have a random button there so it randomly picks the next sample for your folder. possibly make it key mappable if that's not too hard to do, either way great job

Any updates ?

@REMIXMUSIC

Hello, very soon. I decided to go even further! Worked on detecting tone even if it's not in the title.

@BROSCA Nice that sounds great.

@BROSCA any updates
