Device Overview

Name/Version: KlipKnobber 1.0
Author: jabbone
Description: Short video demo
http://youtu.be/YnN4V6DIkew

This small device lets you create a banks of clips in which to browse through.

Load the device in any Audio Track containing some clips.

Clip Select: Select Clip in Bank (max== number of Clips per Bank)

Bank Steps: how many Clips in a Bank

Bank Select: the number of Clip Slots in a Track will be divided by the number of steps, which will result in 1 or more Banks with equal number of Clips.
The number of Clip Slots in a Track in Session View is equal to the number of Scenes (always in Session View).

Active activates selection and triggering.

Example

Track 1 has 9 Clip Slots.
I want each Bank to be composed of 3 Steps (Clip slots)
This will result in 3 Banks which I can select with "Bank Select".
Each Bank contains 3 Clip_slots which I can select via "Clip Select".

If the Clip Slot Contains a Clip the Clip will be triggered on Selection.
If there is no Clip, but a Stop Button is present, the Stop Button will be triggered, stopping any other running Clip.

All controls are MIDI mappable.
Push version will be available soon @phantasmeano.com

Enjoy J. (once you get how to use it it is very simple, and one can organize Banks in genres for example, and brose through each genre...)

For the moment, this is an AUDIO device e basta :-)

FYI the video is in Live 8, but the device has been tested in 9 too, on Mac OSX systems.

Is it possible to increase the # of clips in each bank to the maximum (of 128 I'd imagine).

Otherwise, great device!
